'2 For The Money': Dawson/Tarver and Peter/Klitschko get ready to rumble

Tonight, fight fans will be treated to a double decker as Showtime presents a twin headliner showcasing some of the best talent in the sport.

Most of the fireworks in boxing now days tend to come from the lower weight classes, but this week it's the big boys getting the nod as the best of the heavyweight and light heavyweight divisions get set to wage war.

In the first fight - which will be pre-recorded from Germany - fight fans will get the chance to see the return of Ukranian great Vitaly Klitschko (35-2, 34KO's), as he faces the divisions current WBC heavyweight champ, Samuel 'Nigerian Nightmare' Peter (30-1, 23KO's).

The heavyweight division was once the sports crowned jewel, however, the departures of "Iron" Mike Tyson and Lennox Lewis left the division in a downward spiral as it desperately seeks for a fresh face to replace them.

In the evening's headliner, the spotlight shifts down to the light heavyweight division as IBO/IBF champ Antonio Tarver (27-4, 19KO's) squares off against a man that many consider to be the future of the division, 'Bad' Chad Dawson (26-0, 17KO's).

Both men enter the ring with a chip on their shoulders as Tarver has recently found his legacy in question after a string of inconsistent fights; while Dawson enters the ring on the heels of what many viewed a gift decision as he barely eeked out a victory over the aging Glen Johnson in his last outing.

Neither fight has a true bona-fide projected winner, and by the end of the night, the landscape in these two divisions could be as murky as they currently appear.

For now we can all guess and take a stab at it, but tomorrow night, the bombs go 'live' and the all remaining questions will be answered.

Lets get ready to rumbleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!

    Hey, partner,
I really feel the Klitschko brothers are sufficiently glamorous, if only Americans would get over their chauvinism.
Keep on truckin, and thanks for the encouragement for the Welterweight Champion.
