Thanksgiving is typically a time associated with being thankful for our loved ones and the life we have. It’s a time for people to relax and appreciate their surroundings but on the eve of the Holiday Roger Mayweather didn’t exactly seem in the highest of spirits.
Speaking from his bases in Las Vegas, the trainer was all business as he briefly discussed the recent surroundings regarding a potential Floyd Mayweather-Manny Pacquiao bout. After talking to Roger’s brother Jeff earlier this week I was informed that young Floyd is training for a possible fight in December in England of all places. When asked to either deny or confirm those rumors, the trainer flew slightly under the radar.
“Right now we’re definitely training,” Roger stated recently. “We’re definitely in the gym and of course I’m training him. As for which fight it is, I can’t really speak on that. All I know is that he’s in the gym getting ready.”
It has been speculated by some that a fight with Pacquiao is something Floyd Jr. is actually reluctant towards. Accused in the past of cherry picking his opponents, there are those who feel that Floyd is slightly leery towards locking horns with the Filipino sensation, who has been on quite a terror inside the ring as of late. When asked about his nephew’s state these days, Roger feels that it’s simply a case of Floyd laying low until the moment is right.
“He’s doing well these days,” Roger pointed out. “He definitely wants to fight Pacquiao. Of course the fight is going to get made. It’s the biggest fight on the block right now so of course they will find a way to make it happen.”
If the fight gets made it will pit Mayweather’s incredible skills and ring savvy against Pacquiao’s unorthodox attack and vaunted power, which he has impressively carried up well as he has risen in weight. Despite being a contest that is intriguing, Mayweather can’t budge on his assessment that Pacquiao is anything more than decent in his eyes.
“He’s an alright fighter,” Mayweather said with a ho-hum attitude. “I saw what he did against Cotto but I can’t say he’s anything special. I just don’t see it.”
While Roger may not see much in Pacquiao, there are many who do and would also love the chance to see him test himself against someone like Floyd Jr. It is a contest that has been heavily hyped but Roger simply looks at the situation and shrugs. The brash trainer isn't getting caught up in any of the early hoopla and is simply going about his business until everything comes to fruition.
“I can’t even worry about that until the fight is made. When the time comes for me to start getting ready for that fight we will get ready.”

everytime Floyd Meawether had a fight one thing i noticed that this guy have the allergy from the solid and hard punches to the body especially in the head..during the fight he don't allowed his opponent to land solid and hard punches in the head..his style alone (hit and run) shows that Floyd Mayweather scared and afraid from the solid and hard punches..you can see it after the fight that's why he called "pretty boy" in boxing..i believe that it is one of his weaknesses (allergy from the punches),i'm pretty sure that team Pacquiao and Freddie Roach knew it already..
Floyd didn't do to JMM the kind of damage Pac did to Cotto. Probably Floyd would have a difficult time with Miguel while Pac would KO JMM in a few rounds if they fight again. Roger knows this and deep inside him, he also know Pac is special enough to get the better of his nephew.

That's the way to write, you should not interfere with PHILIPPINE POLITICS AND ECONOMY. USA IS THE LAND OF PORNOGRAPHY AND ABORTIONS.
If I am Floyd, I will not be ashamed to tell the whole world that I am afraid of Pacquiao. If you are afraid of someone, you better avoid him now before you actually fight him. Because on top of the ring the real estate is very narrow and small and it is difficult to run away from the monster. Outside the ring, the hiding place is much much bigger. Can you blame him, after seeing how Pacquiao bludgeoned Hatton, Diaz, Cotto and DL Hoya into submission, voluntarily and involuntarily? If I am Mayweather, I rather not fight Pacquiao and surely preserve his more important 0 - loss record. Having the boxing honor, respect of fans and reputation as a champion are not his cups of tea. And why would he fight Pacquiao when Pacquiao looks like he is taking steroids?
There are 2 things I want to see in this fight:
1.How Mayweather can handle Pacquiao's speed and power.
2.How Mayweather will accept defeat.
This is AN EASY FIGHT FOR THE Pacman. Cotto intimidates me more than Mayweather. Cotto has everything in his arsenal,a big heart, he is a complete package. Mayweather hasn't fought the best yet.I wonder if he can pull off an upset against Cotto.
Roger is wearing an authentic Filipino Barong Tagalog but not the high quality ones used in formal and business attires. What Roger have is an authentic Barong Tagalog used in dressing dead people for burial......uh, I think this is a 'sign', a 'premonition' exhibited by Roger of the fight result when Pac & Floyd finally collide inside the ring.
Mark this Chris, Roger will wear this Barong again after Pacman & Floyd's fight.....By the way, will you be generous enough to tell Roger that he looks handsome in his Barong Tagalog [for the dead]. Thanks heaps if you do.
very strange comments. actually this is my first time hearing roger's comments like that. after saying hatton will whip pacquiao's ass, then after saying cotto will whip pacquiao's ass, he's a little bit quite and gentleman about pacman facing floyd. i guess he saw something that we never know. anyhow, floyd sr. told us that he don't want jr. to fight pacman. the reason is personal and he can't tell. do we need CIA to analyze these statements? oh uhhhhhh :)

Roger might have forgotten his comment that if Pacquiao beats Cotto, he will be surprise. We'll I think he is right now and they're back in training so they could "possibly" look for "remedy" which I guess they could not.

Come on guys...! How many times should Manny Pacquiao has to proved himself? besides he is a champ in seven different world division title first time in the history of boxing sport. Do you really think that Floyd can equal the speed and power of MP? For me when this battle comes Floyd will realize and experience ... who and the true champion is? Manny Pacquiao will surely emerge at the end of the fight like a super hurricane. I can say this because Im not convinced the way floyd fought Oscar and hatton not like MP did. Not only the Gayweathers are dumb,they are also blind..whenever the Pacman destroys opponents one after the other they still couldn't see the devastation of Manny's Knockouts.
