I have no intention of watching Juan Diaz vs. Paulie Malignaggi Saturday night. I don't want to dignify its worth or existence. Diaz won the first fight. So it's over.
This is just a money grab for Malignaggi and he has succeeded. He stirred up all the nonsense back home in Brooklyn and got the locals all riled that they, well, they put the rematch in Chicago. Where are all his drive-by homies?

Where are the sanctioning groups with a real title fight when you need them HBO?

You say, "Why does the public have to be subjected to this fight? What did we do?" Because Diaz, from Houston, could do no wrong in the eyes of his hometown fans and - as it turned out - in the eyes of the three judges. Raul Caiz scored it 115-113, David Sutherland 116-112 and Gale Van Hoy a RIDICULOUS 118-110 - all for Diaz. I'm sure you remember these scores (especially the last one) very vividly. Plain and simple Texas (again) f@cked up the scoring and taints boxing! It seems like the words "neutral" and "objectivity" are not in the Texas vocabulary. EVEN YOU are very partial about this whole thing. Is being objective so hard to do when you're scoring a boxing match? This ruins the image of Texas when it comes to boxing. Who cares if you're not going to watch it!? Its obvious you are a huge Juan Diaz fan. I am a huge Manny fan since he came here to the states, and I hate Paulie Malinaggi with a passion (I even bought the PPV between Paulie and Cotto, just because I wanted to see the crap beat out of him. But, I am a boxing fan first. Malinaggi won that fight. Diaz got the crap beat out of him with Paulie's pillow hands. He got cut up and bruised up. I like Diaz, but I know he is only an average fighter with pillow hands too. I could care less about Paulie talking trash about the Pacman, because I know what he is trying to do is campaign for a fight, which he won't get. Believe me, I hate Malinaggi, but just because I hate him doesn't mean I believe he lost that fight. You and the judges need to stop favoring fighters just because they are from your state. This is why I hope Manny and Mayweather don't fight in Dallas, because who knows who the judges will favor.
