SI.com reported earlier this week that IBO and Ring Magazine light welterweight champion Manny “Pac-Man” Pacquiao tested negative for performance-enhancing substances both before and after he captured the WBO welterweight title from Miguel Cotto at the MGM Grand Garden Arena last month.

In a brutal exhibition of power and speed, Pacquiao (50-2-3, 38 KOs) bludgeoned Cotto (34-2, 27KOs) and was awarded a 12th round technical knockout to become the first pugilist to ever win seven world titles in seven different weight divisions on November 14.

Almost immediately upon the conclusion of the fight, fans began clamoring for a matchup that would pit Pacquiao versus undefeated former champion “Pretty Boy” Floyd Mayweather, Jr (40-0, 25 KOs).

Mayweather, 32, who was named Ring Magazine Fighter of the Year in 1998 and 2007, and his fleet of advisors have long been criticized by boxing analysts for bypassing legitimate contenders to instead scrap overwhelmed stiffs.

Seemingly on cue, the patriarch of the Mayweather clan, batty Floyd Sr., recently informed the media that he would advise his “Pretty” son to refuse a fight with Pacquiao, 30.

Mayweather Sr., a convicted cocaine smuggler and trafficker, explained he didn’t want his son to fight Pacquiao because he is confident that “Pac-Man” is a longstanding juicehead.

“I know Floyd is the best,” said Mayweather Sr. “But when your opponent uses something illegal, even the best can get hurt.”

Predictably, Mayweather Sr. provided zero evidence whatsoever to validate his claim that Pacquiao has ever abused steroids.

Unfortunately, it is fairly obvious that the entire Mayweather clique will stoop to any levels necessary to avoid putting “Pretty Boy” in the ring with a genuinely dangerous opponent.

The executive director of the Nevada State Athletic Commission, Keith Kizer, said that Pacquiao has now amassed ten drug tests in “Sin City,” and every one of his samples have been returned clean.

The media has already speculated that Mayweather’s camp will mandate that Pacquiao is administered extra drug tests if a megafight between Floyd Jr. and the “Fighting Pride of the Philippines” is ultimately agreed upon.

Floyd Mayweather, Jr. is an exceptional fighter and he is likely a more overall skilled boxer than Pacquiao is.

Nevertheless, the Mayweather’s are yellow and cowardly and not one of the members of their family possesses even a granule of the heart and determination that Pacquiao is blessed with.

If Pacquiao and Mayweather finally ink a contract, “Pac-Man” will legally conquer his litany of drug tests and he will feast on the “Pretty Boy.”

Test...Really? Untill there is actual Olympic style tests on this pekpek, (or for any other type of sport for that matter)then I'll buy that!!! Boxing tests are a joke! And Manny and Floyd know that! That is why Floyd is asking for the tests!

Why hasn't Floyd told the commission long before that the test was a joke, why only now that he faces Manny, what is he afraid of? By the way if Manny was really on PED then it's fair game since Floyd is using Xylocaine.

If anyone thought that the commission is a joke then be a man to tell the commission.

ffs NEGATIVE RESULTS, people. NEGATIVE. Get that through your thick skulls. You don't need a blood test at all. Urine tests prove enough.

No...! I think he is positive!!! I don't want to fight with him! I mean geez! I'm scared!

    Sincerely,

    Floyd Mayweather, Jr.
