Hooray for a sunny weekend in Chicago! We have survived the dreary and soggy past couple of weeks and have been rewarded with the best way to welcome in the brand new month and, it’s accompanying moniker of foliage. This fabulous and free night of style is hosted by Maison de Couture, the swanky downtown boutique. Attendees will get to peruse the much talked about Etecetera Line, which debuts with versatile separates that can be used in a number of different ways for day or night. As a special treat, stylist Priscila will be on hand to personally dole out wardrobe tips. While the trunk show goes through next Thursday, tonight is the Open Exhibition from 6-10 p.m. and includes complimentary wine, cocktails, and appetizers. In addition, with every purchase every customer will receive a gift in the form of two of my absolute favorite words: goodie bag! There is even an after party at Stone Lotus following the show.

House of Sole Mohop Trunk Show and Last Minute Anniversary Specials
Who doesn’t need some new kicks now that we can showcase our little piggies again? First step-pedicure. Second step-head over to House of Sole in the South Loop. Known for their fantastic designer trunk shows, today from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. the boutique is featuring Annie Mohaupt of the line Mohop. Her collection features handmade wooden sandals with interchangeable laces, a perfect addendum to anyone’s summer sandal stash.
