Ryan Chan, a 2007 graduate from California Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo, has been involved in sports since he was seven-years-old. He was a perennial all-star striker for his city's soccer team and was the 26th-ranked tennis player in Northern California's 16-year-old category.
