Last night’s raid at the El Gran Mercado, in Phoenix, Arizona resulted in 33 people arrested. Sheriff Joe Arpaio said to local reporters he had a tip vendors at this mercado were breaking the law selling counterfeit DVDs and CDs. The movies found at the site are the same just released to the Home Box Office while hundreds of copies were confiscated.
Arpaio said investigators in the recording industry asked for his help. Some of the vendors are also suspected of being in the country illegally. Another sweep is planned in Phoenix Sunday night.

I'm fine with this as these people are breaking the law. I just saw a Channel 5 story about Arpaio sheriffs attempting to stop people from video taping events like this. His Sheriffs seems to think that they can order citizens to stop taping and turn over their tapes and/or cameras.
I defend my fist AND second amendment rights. I have supported Joe for the last 15 years, but if he or his thugs think that they can order me as a private citizen to stop taping them, I will defend my first amendment rights using the power and might of my second amendment rights.
I would with regret take a life or surrender my own to protect my first amendment rights. Joe, you cannot get away with this. Change your ways, or prepare for war.
