A vehicle carrying alleged illegal immigrants plunged 45 feet off a southwest Texas cliff, falling into a gravel pit and injuring all 18 individuals aboard, Immigration and Customs Enforcement said.
The immigrants believed to be mainly from Guatemala and Mexico, where being transported in a pickup truck when it went off the road in an area where a pit can be dangerous due to a lack of visibility, about 40 miles west of Corpus Christi, Tuesday afternoon.
Eleven of the 18 people remained hospitalized Thursday. Two of the aliens were in critical condition, and a boy is believed to be partially paralyzed. The rest of the immigrants injured in the crash were treated at area hospitals and released to be placed under the Border Patrol custody.
An individual identified as Patricio Rebollar, who had been trapped under the steering wheel of the vehicle involved in the collision, has been charged with illegal immigrant smuggling involving death or serious injury.
A second vehicle registered in the Houston area is also under investigation for its role in the suspected smuggling operation.

This wouldn't have happened if they'd just stayed in their own country instead of invading ours. They should be forced to reimburse the hospital / taxpayers for all expesenses incurred. If they don't have the money they should have to work in a labor camp as restitution.

Because to have children in America, is to receive a check every month, and a well charged debit card, which is the new food stamps. So, as our taxes go up, and I pay for my kids pencils so they can learn to write in a Mexican daycare$food/public school system, they will keep coming for the free things. It is time to resist, and reclaim, because the truth is, politicians are too far and away from doing the will of the average American. they should drop them off at hospitals in Mexico. Wouldn't be suprised if the aclu sues the county cause the road infringes on their rights.

If Mexico and other countries south of the border are so great; Why do Millions leave to come here? If they want to leave the squaller for a better life: Why do they live in such filthy conditions once they arrive here?
They don't ask for Food Stamps for themselves, they get them for their ILLEGAL Puppies they drop here.
