The Spanish rider will focus his activity on the International Extreme Enduro Races and the Indoor Enduro World Cup.

Xavier Galindo switches to Husaberg with immediate effect. The 28 year old rider born in Masalcoreig (Lleida), several times Spanish Enduro and X-Country Champion, will join the Husaberg Factory Team alongside compatriot Oriol Mena, Joakim Ljunggren, Valtteri Salonen, Calle Sjöö and Benoit Fortunato.

Unlike his teammates Xavi's first priority will not be the WEC but the International Extreme Enduro Races, in which he has already demonstrated his competitiveness in the past, as well as the Indo or Enduro World Cup. Nevertheless he is also planning to participate in the first two rounds of the 2010 WEC season in Spain and Portugal and in the Spanish Enduro Championship.

Despite having suffered a 2009 season marked by injuries, especially the one in the right shinbone when he was leading the Red Bull Romaniacs Race in August, Galindo is considered as one of the physically strongest Spanish enduro riders. Coming from trial and motocross, he’s in the enduro scene since 2005, where he achieved his best results. Galindo has an enviable technical riding skill which allows him an incredibly fast pace in the toughest of riding terrain.

His first race aboard a Husaberg will be the Red Bull Don Quixote team race this coming weekend, where he will make up the Husaberg team together with Oriol Mena. One week later he will make his international debut at round 2 of the IEWC in Genoa, Italy aboard the Husaberg FE 390 alongside teammates Joakim Ljunggren and Oriol Mena.
