Now, spending a couple of Benjamins will buy you the ability to capture professional quality audio using any compact video camera – as long as it’s equipped with a common 3.5mm stereo mini microphone jack.

FYI: I also own the big brother to the Sennheiser MKE –400, the MK66. I’ve used both and quite honestly, I have a really hard time distinguishing the difference in sound quality.
