Daniel Radcliffe, Harry Potter, to parody Robert Pattinson, 'Twilight's' Edward Cullen in 'Simpsons' -- According to Entertainment Weekly, actor Daniel Radcliffe, who plays Harry Potter in what will eventually be 8 films about the boy wizard, is set to parody Goblet of Fire co-star Robert Pattinson in an episode of The Simpsons.  He will voice a character that makes fun of Pattinson's vampire character, Edward Cullen, from The Twilight Saga series.

Mr. Radcliffe is excited to play a part in The Simpsons, according to the article, and now he will play "Edmund" in "Treehouse of Horrors XXI." "Edmund" has a romance with "Lisa," but his father, "Dracula," and "Homer" try to put a stop to it.

Executive producer Al Jean says the episode will air next fall.

Currently, Daniel Radcliffe is filming Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part II, and Robert Pattinson is doing promotional work for The Twilight Saga: New Moon, based on the book by Stephenie Meyer.  Pattinson played the part of Cedric Diggory in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, the fourth film in that franchise based on the books by J. K. Rowling.

One question that will certainly need to be answered before Mr. Radcliffe plays the part--will he use an American accent, as Mr. Pattinson does, for his vampire?
