Former Vice President Dick Cheney has been in focus
in several books, like this one by Stephen F. Hayes.
Former Vice President Dick Cheney has signed a book deal and said he hopes readers of all ideologies will be interested in his story, The Associated Press reports.
Cheney's currently untitled memoir will cover his career in government, from chief of staff under President Gerald R. Ford to vice president under George W. Bush, from Vietnam and Watergate to the first Gulf War and the Sept. 11 attacks, according to the AP.
Cheney is not the only politico from the Bush administration who has penned and published his memoir. Former first couple George W. and Laura Bush, former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, and former Defense Secretary Donald H. Rumsfeld are among those who have already written or will be publishing memoirs in the near future, according to The New York Times.
Threshold Editions, the conservative publishing imprint at Simon & Schuster, will be publishing the book in spring 2011, only a few months after George W. Bush's book comes out, the AP reports.
The book deal is rumored to be worth at least $2 million, but Cheney's literary representative Robert Barnett has declined to comment, according to the AP.

Comments
I have absolutely, positively no comment suitable for print.
Wendy, you crack me up:)
So Dick will not testify before the Department of Justice, or the Congress of the United States. However, he is willing to willing to have his unemployed speech writers create a fictional account of the disaster that he led the United States into. His grandchildren do not need his fiction. All they must do is look at the state of the nation that he left. If his grandchildren are as insulated from reality as he was, it will not matter. What doe a Chickenhawk leave behind? Chickenst.
