Nola Cancel is a 47-year-old writer, born and bred in New York City, and now living in Largo, Fl. She has written for many different publications, including the St. Pete Times and Woman's World Magazine. Having shared the past 30 years with the same man, her best friend and husband, Michael, they have experienced the ups and downs of parenthood, as well as, the continuous struggles and, much sought after, kind of love that only comes with truth, understanding, compromise and self-sacrifice. Nola continues to work her regular 9-5 job as she constantly works on her writing and getting her stories out to the public. Nola likes to say to young writers, "that while writing might come, naturally, to some, it is a process that can be worked on and developed over time, if the person is serious about seeing their name in print".
