Most people have a select group of authors whose works they prefer and look forward to their new releases. But like eating the same meals week after week it can become tiring and it is refreshing to try something new. Something new could be an established writer you have never read before, or a debut writer with a fresh style and a storyline that hasn't been recycled.
With this thought in mind, The Roseville Barnes and Noble store at Har Mar Mall has established a book group focused solely on reading and discussing the works of new writers that "are sure to become the classics of tomorrow," according to Sue Bardill, the host of the book group. The group meets every Thursday at 7:00pm from now through November 18th.
Besides participating in this odyssey of new writers, there are a number of new releases widely available at bookstores and your local library that would make interesting reads. Among them are books by Sandra Brown, Robin Cook, Lisa Unger, and more. Fan's of Nancy Grace's crime show may be interested in her latest book, "Death on the D-List."
