Liz and Jonathan have purchased a tutorial college. They move with their fourteen-year-old daughter, Alice, out of the house they love and into the tutorial college. Unfortunately, they cannot sell their house and are drowning in debt.

Liz falls in love with the idea that Marcus can rescue her from her financial problems. With him, she could live a life of luxury without having to work. Marcus feels guilty about the affair and a bad business deal he made. He wants to end his relationship with Liz and clear his conscious.
Alice has been hanging out in her old house with the people who are renting it. But, she wears out her welcome.
