Hopefully your Valentine's Day was a success and the winter blues haven't gotten the best of you yet.  If you're looking for something cheap and fun to do (after all we are in a recession) I've compiled a list of events taking place at local bookstores and libraries around Puget Sound.  Grab a book and a friend and check out one of these happenings.

Monday, February 16

Elliot Bay Book Company: Author Larry Wilmore will discuss his book I’d Rather We Got casinos, and Other Black Thoughts at 7:30 p.m. (free).
University Book Store (University District): Author Christopher Moore will read from and sign his new novel Fool at 7 p.m. (free).

Elliot Bay Book Company: Author Robert V. Camuto will discuss and sign his book Adventures in the French Wine Country at noon (free).

    Joel Berg is NOT speaking at Elliot Bay Book Store on Feb. 18 about his new book, All You Can Eat: How Hungry Is America. He WILL however be speaking at Elliot Bay on Sunday, March 22, time TBD. Thanks.
