Filming of The Twilight Saga: Eclipse continues chugging along this week – leaving fans breathless as they try to keep up with the parade of news from the set. It doesn’t help that Summit Entertainment has been dangling goodies from the second movie in the series, The Twilight Saga: New Moon, all week, as well. But more on that later.
From the filming front this week – director David Slade posted on his Twitter page about shooting with Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart: “Shot with Rob and Kristen today, both gave great performances. Lots of frustrating noisy planes overhead but beautiful scene regardless.”
Lainey Gossip later reported that the filming involved Pattinson’s Edward Cullen and Stewart’s Bella Swan engaged in a romantic scene in a meadow. The report went on to say, that they “talk about getting married, they roll around a little, and they agree on a wedding date.” Radar Online even managed to snag a few photos of Pattinson back in costume as Edward.
But fans know that Eclipse isn’t just about the romance between Bella and Edward. Oh, no. There’s also that tricky love triangle to contend with – and it sounds like the filmmakers did just that this week, in a scene involved Stewart and Taylor Lautner, as her friend/werewolf Jacob Black. Lainey Gossip reports that “‘Bella’ goes on a piggyback run with ‘Jacob’ and they run through the forest. She also drops blood everywhere, and at some point she punches him in the face after he kisses her.”

The humans of The Twilight Saga also got to work this week – with actors Anna Kendrick, Justin Chon, Christian Serratos and Michael Welch all arriving in Vancouver, B.C. this week and getting right to work.
Billy Burke – aka Charlie Swan, Bella’s dad – posted on his Twitter account that Friday’s filming would involve someone wearing a cap and gown. Sounds like Bella is finally graduating high school, and in fact Just Jared Jr. captured photos from the set, including a picture of Kristen Stewart with diploma in hand and some fellow Forks High School students in their golden caps and gowns. It’s also refreshing to see Stewart with her Bella-like locks again, even if it is just a wig. (Her real hair is still sporting a very Joan Jett-like mullet from filming of her other latest movie, The Runaways.) Vancity Allie also managed to capture some distant snapshots from the graduation shoot, as did Twilight Gossip – including a few snapshots of Pattinson, Ashley Greene and Jackson Rathbone on set.
It sounds like Edward’s vampire father may have been there, too. Peter Facinelli (Carlisle Cullen) tweeted on Friday that he had just finished his first day of filming on The Twilight Saga: Eclipse.
When fans weren’t busy sucking up every juicy detail about filming of The Twilight Saga: Eclipse – they were also seeking out all the new goodies from The Twilight Saga: New Moon – which hits U.S. theaters on November 20th.

The biggest news was the release of several new images featuring the Volturi – an elite vampire coven from Italy. Summit Entertainment released five promotional images of Aro (Michael Sheen), Jane (Dakota Fanning), Alec (Cameron Bright), Caius (Jamie Bower Campbell) and Marcus (Christopher Heyerdahl).
Later, following the publication of a People Magazine feature, Summit also released some beautiful movie stills of scenes featuring the Volturi cast members.
One photo depicts Jane (Fanning) leading Edward (Pattinson) and his sister Alice (Ashley Greene) into the Volturi lair. A second photo shows Volturi member Demetri (Charlie Bewley) with his hand around the throat of tiny Alice (Greene). And a third photo shows Aro (Sheen) and Caius (Bower Campbell) sitting in their thrones inside the Volturi lair, with Alec (Bright) standing nearby. (You can see the photos in our slideshow below!)

Northwest rockers Death Cab for Cutie would be writing the first single from The Twilight Saga: New Moon soundtrack, a new song called “Meet Me at the Equinox.” MTV reported that it would debut the new single on September 13th, before the Video Music Awards. Author Stephenie Meyer also revealed the cover art for the soundtrack on her website.
Actor Peter Facinelli – who portrays Carlisle Cullen in the Twilight Saga movies – also talked to Z100 radio, revealing that his character would appear in a scene in The Twilight Saga: New Moon that isn’t in the books. He says it’s a flashback involving the Volturi.

okay, i saw some other photos of the graduation - extras, ashley greene but not aliceized, etc. - andi saw one of jasper. jasper graduated the year before woth emmett and rosalie. is he graduating now cause in he first movie twilight, all the junior went on a feildtrip to the green house and jasper was with alice and edward. comments? ps - i'm a little mad they're curving away from the book, but more jasper? i'm fine with that!! ;)
i read about tay and kris running in meadow oh my thats a very nice scene and theyre kissing how sweet coz they are human please more of jacob and bella moe moe moe..

am feeling the excitement too, new moon in nov. & they are working on eclipse. i think they all look great. just hope director david slade knows what he is doing. maybe the cast will keep him on his toes. love the robsten.
I really wish people would remember that the meadow engagment scene happened at the end of NEW MOON NOT Eclipse. I don't know why these silly screenwriters can't stick to an already good story. Oh well hopefully the movies are good!
I think they should make Eclipse sooner and not release it in November it is hard enoght to wait for New Moon let alone Eclipse for a year after that. The picures look really great and I can't wait for it!!!
