Farrah Fawcett lost her long battle with anal cancer today. Fawcett was best known for her role as Jill on Charlie’s Angels and her infamous ‘70s pinup girl swimsuit poster.
Fawcett was a collaborator on a photo book with artist Keith Edmier. The book, titled, Keith Edmier & Farrah Fawcett: Recasting Pygmalian, details their artistic work together. The pairing resulted in a marble sculpture of Fawcett created by Edmier, and a bronze sculpture of Edmier created by Fawcett. The book also contains an essay by Lynn Zelevansky.
Other books about Fawcett that can be found with a little leg work and a deep pocket include a 1977 unauthorized biography, titled "Farrah" by Patricia Burstein. As of today, a copy was also available on Amazon for $99.99
1977 also brought a dual biography of Fawcett and her then husband Lee Majors titled “Farrah & Lee”, also available on e-bay.
Anyone looking to find old magazines that had been graced with Fawcett on the covers and pages need only visit a site like ebay or amazon and search Farrah Fawcett to locate hundreds of magazines.
Copies of Fawcett’s 1976 poster, the poster that shot her to fame, can still be located on line. A poster reportedly hand signed by Fawcett is being offered at a ‘buy now’ price of $499.00.
