Did Jim Morrison fake his death?

Ever since his supposed death by heart failure in 1971, there have been rumors of Doors frontman Jim Morrison faking his death for one reason or another, predating post-mortem speculation about other icons like John Lennon and Charles Bukowski.

South American journalist Adriana Rubio’s book, Jim Morrison: Ceremony examines the possibility that Morrison faked his death by ingesting Tetrodotoxin, a drug used to induce the “zombie” state in Voodoo ceremonies, and is still alive today. Voodoo is a Caribbean religion with roots in Africa. Among other things, Jim was allegedly introduced to the Wiccan religion by Patricia Kennealy, with whom he exchanged marriage vows in a June 1970 Celtic Pagan handfasting ceremony.

Oregon rodeo photographer Gerald Pitts claims he faked his death to escape a French conspiracy to knock off influential protestors of United States involvement in the Vietnam War and reappeared in 1998 to help him promote a shoot-'em-up rodeo movie called “Redeemed”. Pitts’s website features photos and film footage attempting to prove this man is, in fact, Morrison, almost ten years after the man in question has denied all involvement with Pitts (who still claims to be his manager).

Rubio's The Jim Morrison Manual Case is a further, more explicit investigation into this possibility, including the record of her acquaintance with the Oregon cowboy in question. After discovering the “false French name” this man lives under, she contacted him. When Pitts found out, he became enraged, leaving a message with Rubio’s publisher saying, “You are NEVER to call him again.” “Gerald Pitts is the kind of person who will do whatever to reach the goal,” warns Rubio. “He made it clear to me in many telephone interviews we had in 2005, saying, ‘This is a BILLION dollars story!’ I remember one of our conversations when I asked if his ‘Jim’ is still writing and he just said: ‘He told me that he wanted to publish a poetry book. I don’t know much about books and to say the truth I don’t care about that. I’m interested in breaking the news with this story!’ Then he said that if I wanted further information I had to give him money! He is NOT a truthful person.”

On her website, Adriana Rubio makes clear that she in no way wishes to confirm Gerald Pitts’s allegations about the Oregon cowboy, having encountered a labyrinth of puzzles in her efforts to solve that particular mystery. She felt lucky for being in touch with the supposed Morrison and his wife for approximately a year and a half, even after being informed by his wife that the man in question, whatever his true identity, was undergoing chemotherapy treatments for “a liver illness.”

Much has been made of the recurrent lizard references in Morrison’s lyrics as evidence of his ties to sorcery. A lengthy excerpt from The Jim Morrison Manual Case states that the agents involved in the highest echelons of the MK-ULTRA program were commonly referred to as “lizard men” or “lizard people.” Included were lyrics from Doors song “The Celebration of the Lizard” which are highly suggestive of the introduction and onset of a hypnotic session when viewed in this light (the CIA’s notorious mind control program, MK-ULTRA, is well-known for its alleged use of hypnosis for the implanting of behavioral commands in scapegoat “lone nut” assassins like Lee Harvey Oswald and Sirhan Sirhan).

On more than one occasion, Jim Morrison claimed he drank excessively to silence all the voices in his head, and maybe he wasn’t just being colorful in saying so. Given the intentional disconnect between covert government agencies and US citizens, for all we know, all those lizard lyrics were his way of exorcizing the psychic trauma induced by years of hypnotic indoctrination. Paranormal theorist David Icke, who claims that the world’s most powerful families are in fact controlled by a human-reptilian hybrid bloodline, and have been for centuries, has remarked on this possibility in an essay titled, “How Much Did Jim Morrison Know?

I was not impressed with this article. The last sentence in the first paragraph, the "hook", throws in John Lennon and somebody I never heard of shattering the focus of the remaining content.
The heart of the matter is whether former rock and roller Jim Morrison is alive. This article highlights animosity between a journalist and a rodeo photographer who are steeped in competition as to to will break out the story. Which of the two have the upper hand and why? we don't know, only that the two are squabbling.
The final stages of journalistic degeneration show in the final paragraph where the author becomes disgruntled at the notion of having to think logically and resorts to Jim's involvement with "sorcery". David Ickes is respected in the conspiracy field but has never inquired as to Jim faking his death. Many fans really want to know if there is any real evidence that the American icon is still alive and look to articles like this for truth, instead they ridicule.

Dozens of comments on whether Jim Morrison faked his death can be found in the Museum of Hoaxes website. This site contains a wealth of information on the mysteries which surround Bill Loyer who Pitts and Rubio are referring to here as being Jim Morrison. A professional forensic scientist admits a striking similarity between Bill and Jim. David Logan a timberfaller from Oregon who worked on his estate, also testifies that Bill is Jim Morrison. This site has the most lively discussion about Jim Morrison being alive on the web today.

There's alot of strain of truth to this article.
What I heard was that Jim overdosed on herion in the back of the restaruant. She found him in the bath tub.
Still in a coma 4 days later wet, cold, blue maybe, she gives up.

Told me he woke up in the morgue. I suppose a death certificate had already been issued. Found his passport in a Paris airport. Imagine what a shave and a haircut could do for a young man like that.

Pam told us he was alive. For a few years after that.

    Go to www.Highmountainrogue.com
See more pictures. These photo's have been being compared for over 5 years. Flawless and yet none are of the exact same pose. Jim has been in the hands of one of the nation's leading forensic expert. His signature matches. Features match. Voice tapes are being held by the good doctor. His credentials cover a small wall.
