Twilight movie critics -- where are you? Still need 2 Twi-hards for Twilight movie debate

Come on and get your fangs out Twilight fans who were less than pleased than with the book's film adaptation.

After yesterday's call for Twilight fans interested in taking part in a debate over the movie (for more information, see Take part in a Twilight movie debate), I received plenty of great emails from fans eager to represent Team Loved It, yet only one request to be included on Team Disappointed!

Now, I know there are plenty of you with the Twilight knowledge and skill at cogently expressing your opinions against the Twilight movie to give Team Loved It a run for their money. Some of your comments on past articles (Twilight movie reviews: Read what the fans are saying; Twilight movie review: What worked, what failed miserably, and how the movie measured up to the book; Top 10 things Twilight fans loved -- and hated -- about the Twilight movie) were fantastically argued, and believe me, if I were able to convince the Examiner management to give me access to the email addresses of commentors, there are several of you that I would specifically ask to take part.

In case you're afraid that this debate is going to turn into a bloody battle to the death with reckless insults and accusations of "you're not a real fan" flying about like bombs, don't worry; all debators will be expected to conduct themselves as scrupulously polite ladies, gentlemen, vampires, and werewolves. Besides, we're not here to debate the book -- just to have an in-depth, fan led discussion of what went right/terribly wrong with the film adaptation.

And if you're a bit squeamish about having your name and picture wedded on the Book Examiner site as the Fan Who Was Disappointed, then I hereby give you permission to use a picture that doesn't show your face (i.e. you hiding behind the Twilight book) and/or a name of your choice (you know the type I mean -- Jacob Fan, Twilight Addict, or my personal favorite, Accio Edward).

So come on down fans who weren't exactly pleased with the movie! Get the full list of required qualifications and how to apply to be a debator at Take part in a Twilight movie debate. or email michellekerns@surewest.net for more details.
