That's right Twi-hards: it's finally time for the opposing sides of our Twilight Movie Debate Team -- Team Loved It and Team Disappointed -- to go mano y mano and thrash out (politely, of course) whether the Twilight movie was a resounding success or a disappointing flop for devoted Twilight fans.
The three members on each side of the debate were presented with the following five questions to ponder:
1. Does the movie successfully transfer from page to screen the feelings and emotions in the book?
2. Were the characters, particularly Edward and Bella, successfully portrayed by Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart?
3. Were the scenes that were added into the storyline for the benefit of the film adaptation effective?
4. Do you think the Twilight movie will encourage people who have not read the books to read them?
5. What, if anything, would you specifically suggest be changed in order for New Moon to be an even bigger success?
You'll get to cast on eye on their answers tomorrow. First, however, let's meet our intrepid debaters!
Introducing Team Loved It!

Mr. Patrick Black
I am definitely your a-typical Twilight fan, being a middle aged guy. I work for a small theater in Vermont and am trying to get us to spread out from our foreign and independent film "roots", hence my pushing for us to show "Twilight", which I succeeded at. I would have to say I'm definitely a romantic, and a lover of what would normally be called "chick flicks". Give me a happy romantic ending and I'm a content guy. On the other hand, I'm an avid World of Warcraft player, with 7 (almost 8) level 70 characters on Nordrassil.
Ms. Raelynn Coombs
Raelynn Coombs is a Twilight Maniac, mother of 3 girls, professional pet groomer, private pilot and loves to write. After reading the Twilight series (the drug that was pushed on her by her 18 year old daughter), Raelynn became an addict and started her own Twilight Fan site, TwilightMania.com. She is now the Twilight drug pusher in the family. She loves animals, anything artsy, and other than the Twilight book series, Kim Harrison’s The Hollows series are her favorite books.

Mrs. Mary McGill
I have been married to an awesome man, Jesse, who is truly my partner and soul mate, for six years, and we have three beautiful children, Gracie, Hunter, and Walt. They're wonderful, and make up such a huge part of my life. Some of my favorite books are "The World According to Garp" by John Irving, hence the name 'Walt', for my youngest son, "The Catcher in the Rye" by J.D. Salinger, "Atonement" by Ian McEwan, and "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil" by John Berendt. I love to cook, along with my husband, and we collect cookbooks to try new recipes. I love professional football, and am a Colts girl through and through. My favorite painter is Gustav Klimt. I've always wanted to take dance classes, and if I could go back to school, I would get a teaching degree and take on early elementary age kids, or maybe teach Journalism and English in high school. Some of my favorite music to listen to includes Fiona Apple, Kings of Leon, My Morning Jacket, Tom Petty, Modest Mouse, Vampire Weekend, and anything old and hooky. That is, in a nutshell, me.

Ms. Jen Koeller
Jen Koeller lives in New Jersey with her husband Chris. She has played many roles in her own story, including ordained minister, vaccuum cleaner salesperson, and volunteer firefighter. Currently Jen works as an Emergency Medical Services Technician and a Tupperware Consultant...yes, Tupperware is still around! Jen will read anything that has words, including the back of the toothpaste tube, and highly recommends Twi-hards check out some of her favorite books, The Circle of Magic quartet and the Tortall books, both by Tamora Pierce, the Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling, and the Artemis Fowl series by Eoin Colfer. Past-tween Twi-hards (like Jen!) might also enjoy the romance and futuristic crime novels of the In Death books by J.D. Robb.

YA,YA,YA!!! NOW THAT WE ALL KNOW WHO EACH MEMBER ON BOTH TEAM ARE, LET US NOW KNOW IF THEY CAN WITHSTAND THEIR POINT OF VIEW OF THE TWILIGHT MOVIE!!! ACTS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS, REMEMBER THAT!!! LET THE BATTLE BEGIN!!!
I don't really think that HP and Twilight should be compared... I mean, they're both so good in their own ways - you can't really choose one over the other. Kudos to the authors, both series are great, and very, very few books have been able to capture my attention the way these series have. =)
I don't really think that They should be compared.. They are both really good books/movies.. Just my opinion, Twilight caught my attention more than Harry Potter.. But why does there really have to be a debate between Twilight and Harry Potter, it really just depends on everyone's point of view... Some people may prefer Twilight over Harry Potter. And some the opposite of that... It just depends on the persons interests in books/movies.
TOTALLY TWILIGHT IT'S LOVE, ACTION,FAMILY,OPPISITE ATTRACT...ALL MIXED INTO ONE AND LETS FACE IT EDWARD IS SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH HOTTER THAN HARRY POTTER!!!!!

You change your mind
Like a girl changes clothes
Yeah you, PMS
Like a itch
I would know
And you over think
Always speak
Crypticly
I should know
That you're no good for me
{CHORUS}
Cause you're hot then you're cold
You're yes then you're no
You're in then you're out
You're up then you're down
You're wrong when it's right
It's black and it's white
We fight, we break up
We kiss, we make up
(you)You don't really want to stay, no
(but you)But you don't really want to go-o
You're hot then you're cold
You're yes then you're no
You're in and you're out
You're up and you're down
We used to be
Just like twins
So in sync
The same energy
Now's a dead battery
Used to laugh bout nothing
Now your plain boring
I should know that
You're not gonna change
Someone call the doctor
Got a case of a love bi-polar
Stuck on a roller coaster
Can't get off this ride
instead of then say and
