Since the release of the band's twelfth album, ‘The Circle'  this past November, Bon Jovi has been frenetically setting the pace to get the band into fine voice and musical trim for their upcoming World Tour, which kicks off in Honolulu, Hawaii on February 11.

First-up, the band gets to warm-up before a worldwide audience on this weekend's Grammy Awards show in Los Angeles. Hot on the heels of ‘The Circle' debuting at #1, the rock ‘family' from the Jersey Shore have been nominated for Best Pop Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocals for the first single off the new CD, "We Weren't Born To Follow".

As part of the unique celebration of this year's 52nd Grammy Awards, fans around the world have been allowed to vote online for their favorite Bon Jovi song, which the rockers will then play live on the telecast.

It is the first time in Grammy history that real-time voting has been used to direct a band's song selection, and one of the few times anyone, anywhere, has told Bon Jovi what to do and lived to tell about it. Be sure to tune in this Sunday, January 31 at 8:00pm eastern on CBS for all the festivities.

Just two weeks after the Grammy performance, the band heads out on yet another extended tour; one that will take them around the world and include sold out shows at the new Meadowlands Stadium in New Jersey May 26,27, and 29; as well as the O2 Arena in London, England as Artist In Residence. Those shows slated for June 7,8,10,11,13,17,19,20,22, and 23 are again completely sold out.

Clearly, the man with the million-megawatt smile shows no sign of slowing down. In an interview in the Bombay Times of India, Jon Bon Jovi remarked that though he will be 48 in March, he feels like 18; and on that basis, sees no reason to stop globe-trotting the world with their upbeat, defiant and inspirational brand of rock now. However, the vein rock star with the full mane of hair and the seductive smile has no intention of touring beyond his looks and becoming a carnival side-show curiosity.

He told contactmusic.com in 2007 that he was completely ‘astounded' that Mick Jagger and the Rolling Stones had continued to start themselves up and tour well into their 60's. According to Jon, "I can't see myself touring as extensively as I do now-God bless the Stones for doing what they do, but 64 and playing at a festival? Astounding".

Thus, with the launch of this tour, loving fans around the world should take in as much of Jon and the boys as they can, because you never know when he's going to hang it up and decide to spend more time with his wife and children, or, run for mayor or Governor of New Jersey.
