Woody Guthrie's version of "Do Re Mi"
A preview of Bob Dylan in the documentary The People Speak can now be viewed and heard online.
A clip of Dylan playing an acoustic guitar can clearly be seen 24 seconds into the video, although there is no audio of this performance .
His stripped-down version of Woody Guthrie's "Do Re Mi" was one of two songs Dylan submitted for the documentary. The other was a cover of Guthrie's "Vigilante Man." This second song may appear on the official website, or the DVD, which is scheduled to be released next month.

The soundtrack also includes two artists covering Dylan songs: Rich Robinson of the Black Crowes performs "Only A Pawn In Their Game", and Pearl Jam's Eddie Vedder covers "Masters Of War" (which he also performed at the 30th Anniversary Concert for Bob Dylan in 1992). Bruce Springsteen, Randy Newman, Jackson Browne, Taj Mahal, and Allison Moorer are also on the album. The soundtrack will be released on Tuesday, while the documentary airs on the History Channel December 13 at 8 p.m. (ET).
Here's a clip of Dylan covering Guthrie's "Pretty Boy Floyd", with G.E. Smith, in 1988. This song is mentioned in his recent NASNA interview. Dylan recorded a version of this for the tribute album, Folkways: A Shared Vision, which also features John Mellencamp covering "Do Re Mi."
