Bob Dylan tour update - More information on venues, ticket sales, and concert times

(Audio) "The Man In Me", Osaka, March 13, with Dylan center stage on harp, Donnie Herron on trumpet.

Bob Dylan's official website has his July 4 concert in Limerick City, Ireland, listed on the "Current Tour" page. The time of the concert is listed at 8:30 p.m., even though the official Ticketmaster page - and other reports - list the start time as 2 p.m. (or 14:00 ).  His official website may be referring to the expected start of Dylan's set . David Gray and Seasick Steve have already been announced as support acts. Tickets for the general public go on sale Monday morning, March 15, at 9 a.m., local time. The pre-sale ends tomorrow at 8 a.m, yet the official website still has no information about the pre-sale.

Bob Links has some more information about two other concerts:

Zagreb, Croatia, June 7: Expected to take place at Salata, a 5,000 capacity venue, with tickets "available soon".

Bratislava, Slovak Republic, June 9: The concert venue is listed at Incheba Expo Arena, capacity 2,500.

(Audio) "Love Sick", Osaka, March 13.

Dylan pulls into Limerick. Great to have him back in Ireland, almost 26 years to the day since he played Slane.

Saw Bob last night in Osaka (3/15): great voice, smooth moves, tight band. Copping Elvis stage antics via recent Leonard Cohen impersonations, plus some Keith Jarrett gyrations at the keyboard. Some lyrics interspersed with harp riffs made for interesting effect. Lots of fathers and sons in the audience, and young punk staff telling 50- and 60-year-old fans not to rush the stage! A splendid time was had by all.
