Boat a tournament winning fisherman, licensed captain, former boatyard and marine electronics store manager, author of Falvey's Guide to Fishing Long Island. These passions and experiences have blessed him with an insider's view of the marine industry. Falvey holds a degree in Journalism, is married with daughters, and resides on eastern Long Island. In addition to his book and job as Senior Technical Editor at BOATING, Falvey's by-line has appeared in The Fisherman, On The Water, Offshore, Sarasota and other periodicals. He has made radio and TV appearances, and more recently, hosted several podcasts for consumer marine electronics giant, Raymarine. He's currently using his blog, Boat Stuff, as a build diary for the small sailboat he's constructing for his daughters. He is working on his next book.
