WUSA and CSN ready for the Redskins

The annual battle between WUSA9 and Comcast Sports Net for the home of the Redskins will start Saturday Night.
Starting next week Skins fans will have a choice of pre-game shows. WUSA9 will do a half hour show hosted by Brett Haber, the award winning sports director will host "Redskins Tailgate" with Ryan Kuehl. The show debuts next week due to CBS coverage of the PGA Championship this week.
The game will have Haber as the pre-game and halftime host with Mike Patrick and Joe Theismann calling the action. The sideline reports will come from Kelli Johnson and so the Redskins broadcasts will have the same team they had last season.
Post game fans have two choices WUSA will offer "Redskins Overtime" live from FedEx Field with Haber and Kuehl handling the interviews and comments. CSN will have Redskins Post Game Live with Hernandez, Matich and Johnson also from FedEx.
This is the drill for the pre-season. Broadcast TV the games are on WUSA-9, cable the games are on CSN with all telecasts in HD.
Radio will be ESPN 980AM, WTNT 570AM, WWRC 1260AM and throughout the mid Atlantic on the Redskins Radio network with the pre-game show with Kevin Sheehan starting at 5pm. Post game will be handled by Andy Pollan.
Quick notes Brian Mitchell will be joining Brett Haber once again Sunday nights at 11;30pm on "Sports Plus."

Here is the view of the new CSN SportsNite set that viewers will see tonight at 6pm. It is a true HD and it does have a network look to it!
Finally kudos to CN8 for doing well in the nominations for the mid-Atlantic Emmy Awards. CN8 Sports nomination highlights include: “Out of Bounds” Host Gregg Murphy nominated for Best Host/Moderator, “Out of Bounds Late Night” Host Jeff Rickard nominated for Best Anchor-Sports and John Carchedi for Best Reporter-Sports. The network was also recognized for its live sports coverage with several Emmy nominations for “Varsity Gamenight,” “CAA Men’s Basketball Tournament” and “CN8 College Football.”
