It's a business doing pleasure with you

Well, without The Wire to give us our fix of premium channel original programming, I suggest you all tune into Showtime tonight.

These shows may not hit Baltimore homes as hard as The Wire, but Weeds and Secret Diary of a Call Girl should merit your attention for a half hour each tonight solely because of the campaign that has been running recently. Print, outdoor, TV, you name it. These two woman (Mary Louise Parker and Billie Piper) are everywhere.

One show...about a drug dealing house mother.
The other...about a secretive prostitute.

No matter how you look at it, for them, it is a business doing pleasure with us.

I already watch Weeds and cannot think of a better advertising message for the show to be tied to. Call Girl is premiering tonight, so combining the campaign with an already successful show is perfect.

Just watch tonight. Trust me.
