Sheila Dixon And 2101 East Biddle Street

Today the Sun came out with an informative piece about the Mayor Dixon investigation. It appears that the state is interested in investigating four development projects with which Ronald H. Lipscomb is involved.

The Sun mentions a project at 2101 East Biddle Street that is supposed to end up being a 46,000-square-foot recreation and learning center. The Sun makes this project out to be something that is only now being looked into. A few weeks ago I received this link from a reader. I wish I would have posted it then. Take a look at it. Three months ago bloggers were in the know about the controversy at 2101 East Biddle. Apparently the building is nowhere near close to becoming a rec center and the money that the state and city funneled in to the project is unaccounted for.  The blog entry specifically says:

According to court documents filed by the state prosecutor, the city-owned property is to be conveyed to Lambda, which is referred to as the “fee developer” for Ronald H. Lipscomb, as RHL Development LLC.

 Hmmmm...
