Hundreds of Walkers Expected for
“Heart & Sole Stroll”
presented by The Red Devils

 

 

WHAT: The 6th Annual Red Devils - Heart and Sole Stroll

 Hundreds of Marylanders will grab their devil horns and join

The Red Devils this Sunday for a stroll around Centennial Lake

 in Columbia. The 2.4-mile, half-hour walk will raise money for

services funded by the nonprofit to improve the quality of life for

 Maryland breast cancer patients and their families. Services,

which include transportation to and from treatment, meals and

 groceries, house cleaning and prescription drug assistance, are

 provided at no cost to patients and their families.

 

WHEN:     Sunday, June 8, 2008

                        10 a.m. Stroll begins

9 a.m. Walk-up registration

 

WHERE:  Centennial Lake in Columbia, Maryland

COST:    $35 for individuals, $70 for families

With summer here I thought the “Skinny Girls Margarita” was the perfect choice

On the Rocks
2 oz of clear Tequila (100% agave, Patron Silver)

(count 1, 2 while you pour, no need for measuring)

A splash of fresh lime juice

A splash of Cointreau, Grand Marnier or Triple Sec

Combine all ingredients over a glass of ice
Garnish with a lime wedge and salt (or sugar) if you’d like.
Makes one serving
