Happy Friday! Some FUN and Photos for YOU!

Take a look at this young lady. Her name is Robin Almony and her velvet voice will be hitting the airwaves in Maryland-D.C. and Pennsylvania in June. A resident of the “Hereford Zone” of north Baltimore County, Robin started her musical journey at the age of four.  A 1994 Hereford High grad, this 31 year old may be too old for American Idol but she is just right with her talent. Want a sneak listen? Go to her MySpace page, www.MySpace.com/Robinalmony

 BOYS OF SUMMER
RA Sushi, the new trendy Baltimore hot spot had Baltimore Oriole Aubrey Huff in this week. Huff gave the sushi a very high score. Let’s hope the sushi washed out his potty mouth after calling Baltimore a “Horse Sh-t town” on an XM radio interview this past winter. Same night, Derek Jeter dined there with yet another starlet, Minka Kelly. That guy has scored with more actresses than you can shake a rainbow roll at!

SPOTTED
At Camden Yards for the Orioles/Yankees series this week was Maryland Terp b-ball guard, Greivis Vasquez.  Greivis was chatting up a storm with his buddy, who was sporting a Skankee hat. Boo Hiss!  Maybe it’s the company he keeps that makes him look like this.

Speaking of the O’s, seems Andy MacPhail has an unfortunate beginning on his SUV’s license plate…. HGH…… Eeks!   You may want to change that one up, Big Bird.

Last thing on sports…
Will someone please call Stan Charles, publisher of the Press Box newspaper and tell him there is a cell accessory he needs to buy. Blue tooth!
Dude, last Friday your white car almost gave my car a fender kiss on 83 northbound. Don’t think he noticed though he was so busy multi tasking.

An almost strike three for me!

PARTY PIX
The Contemporary Museum’s Sustain-a-Ball was held at Montgomery Park, one of Baltimore’s model environmentally friendly buildings out there. The event featured inventive organic cuisine, lots of earth friendly art works, and a silent auction of sustainable items. Guests immersed themselves in the spirit of being “green” by donning colorful recycled attire. Some of the eco-friendly included George Ciscle, Heather and Michael Furbish, Ted Frankel, Doreen Bolger, William Gilmore, Steve Ziger , Jamie Snead, Jeanine and Patrick Turner, to name a very few. A good “green” time was had by all.

Co-chairs -Nancy and Tom O'Neil. Tom is the president of the Contemporary Museum's board of trustees.
