High gas prices cut driving pleasure

    The Porsche Cayman - Driving happiness!
 
A recent national survey by J.D Power and Associates
revealed that U.S drivers are less happy with their new
rides this year for the first time in the last five year period
due mostly to high fuel prices.
 
The survey measured owners’ perspectives on design,
layout, and performance of new vehicles. The findings
revealed the industry average dropping two points on a
1,000 point scale from 772 in 2007 to 770 now.
 
J.D power and Associates provides the vehicles that scored
the highest in each vehicles category as follows:
 
-         Subcompact car: Honda Fit
-         Compact car: Mini Cooper
-         Compact sporty car: Volkswagen GTI/R32
-         Compact premium sporty car: Porsche Cayman
-         Entry premium car: Lexus IS 250/IS 350/IS-F
-         Midsize premium car: BMW 5 Series
-         Large premium car: Mercedes S Class
-         Midsize car: Volkswagen Passat
-         Large car: Dodge Magnum
-         Compact multi-activity vehicle (includes
sport-utility vehicles and crossovers): Toyota FJ Cruiser
-         Midsize multi-activity vehicle: Buick Enclave
-         Large multi-activity vehicle: Toyota Sequoia
-         Midsize premium multi-activity vehicle: Porsche Cayenne
-         Large premium multi-activity vehicle: Land Rover Range Rover
-         Large pickup: Chevrolet Avalanche
