Nintendo Wii Fit Provides Quality Family Time and Exercise

June 17, 12:50 AM

Nintendo Wii fit, weight loss diary ...

On Father’s Day, my children and I gave my husband the Nintendo Wii Fit Game.  This game is the coolest video game I have seen in years.

I have to admit that I generally don’t enjoy video gaming.  I usually don’t understand exactly what the games have required of me to play.  Today’s games are bit too technical for this descendant of Atari’s Pong.  (I know that I have your attention now.)

The Wii Fit is different.  The games are centered on various physical activities such as boxing, skiing, hula hooping, yoga and running just to name a few.  You get your personal BMI (Body Mass Index) and have the capability to set goals and follow them during the course of your workout.  Additionally, you get assigned a personal trainer who gives you healthy and insightful fitness tips.

My personal favorite Wii Fit game is watching my husband hula hoop.  He actually looks like he is doing a dance move from the movie "Grease."  LOL!

It is the first video game that I have played in years that is fun for the entire family.  It is a terrific way to spend quality family time and get some exercise at the same time.  I highly recommend this game!

Live fully,

Mia
