Eastern Connections at MICA - photos from the Reception

April 27, 3:32 PM

Last Friday I went to visit the Hoffberger MFA Student's Studios and attended "Eastern Connections," an exhibit by graduate students Hwa Hyun Kim, Jenny Mullins, and Kim Manfredi, who all incorporate Eastern ideas and philosophies in their work.

It's an amazing gallery space, hidden away in MICA's Bank Building on North Avenue, which houses many of their graduate programs. The work was colorful and had a sense of humor, which I always enjoy. My one regret is that I missed the free art give-a-way. Damn.
