Amber Calvin and Tierra Thomas each scored 14 points as North Carolina A&T edged Yale, 80-79, at the New Mexico Thanksgiving Tournament in Albuquerque Saturday.

Lamona Smalley added 13 points and Jaquayla Berry and Nikia Gorham each chipped in 10 points for the Lady Aggies, who trailed 43-40 at the half.

Melissa Colborne led Yale and all scorers with 17 points and Ericka Van Kaeppler assisted with 14 points.  Yoyo Greenfield added 13 points, Mady Gobrecht made a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds, and Megan Vasquez finished with 10 points.

San Francisco 68, Prairie View 64

Gaati Werema scored 21 points but the Lady Panthers couldn't hold a four-point halftime lead and fell to the Lady Dons at the Basketball Travelers Tip-Off at United Spirit Arena in Lubbock.

Candice Thomas added 16 points and Latara Darrett scored 14 points in the loss for Prairie View (2-2), which made just 36 percent of their shots from the floor.

Donnisha Taylor and Mel Khlok led San Francisco with 16 points apiece.  Rheina Ale added 14 points for the Lady Dons, who outscored Prairie View 43-35 in the second half and hit 47 percent of their field goals.
