How bizarre has politics become in this country?

Last week in the City of Brotherly Love, a Democratic state representative in Pennsylvania charged that her opponent is only pretending to be bisexual for political gain. Babette Josephs accused her opponent Gregg Kravitz of using his sexuality to get votes. She outed him as a straight man!

"I outed him as a straight person," Josephs said, according to the Huffington Post, where you can actually hear the live audio of the speech.

She said, "Now he goes around telling people, quote, 'I swing both ways.' That's quite a respectful way to talk about sexuality. This guy's a gem."

Kravitz, who has said he is attracted to both men and women, told the Philadelphia Inquirer: "That kind of taunting is going to make it more difficult for closeted members of the LGBT community to be comfortable with themselves."

I'm not sure what planet Josephs is talking about where being bisexual makes it easier to be a better politician, but wouldn't that be nice?
