A dramatic girl-on-girl kissing scene (see video below) makes the latest episode of Melrose Place sizzle. The bisexual ball that was dropped after the first episode of the new Melrose Place series is back with a vengeance...and tongue.

Heather Locklear, reprising her role as Amanda Woodward, returns to the series as the head of WPK, the PR firm where Ella (Katie Cassidy) is clawing her way up to the top. After swooping in from New York and firing half the staff including Ella's gorgeous gay boss Caleb, she puts Ella to the test. She sends talent agent Melissa Sax in to test her loyalty and try to seduce her away to become an agent at her firm. She takes the seduction aspect literally and drags Ella into a secluded corner, pushes her up against the wall and makes out with her whle flattering her into making a move. But Ella remains loyal to her idol Amanda.

They first meet at the bar and Ella complements the woman's ring:

Melissa: "Parting gift from the ex. She threw it at me on her way out the door."

So right away, you know something exciting is about to happen. A few of the lines from their exchange below, hilite the seductiveness in the scene emphasized by the sexy tone and batting eyelashes:

Mellissa: I've been trying to catch your eye all night.

Melissa: [touches Ella's arm] From my research, I would say you're quite the "people person" [code for "bisexual" and the same phrase that Sandra Bernhard's character Nancy on Roseanne used to describe her bisexuality.]

Mellissa:  Why dont we find somewhere quiet to discuss your career? [At which point the search for a makeout spot ensues...
