Big Brother 11: Lydia

Beginning this week, the Big Brother Examiner is going to take a deeper look at the two house guests nominated for eviction.  This week the two nominees are Lydia and Ronnie.  If neither win the power of veto and no one chooses to use that power upon either of them, then the house guests will be voting for their eviction come Thursday night! So how has Lydia done so far in the game, has she shot herself in the foot or has she made some good moves, hmm well she is on the block facing eviction so that could be a big clue as to her game play thus far.  However, she is up against Ronnie the Rat so Russell could have had her in mind as a pawn the whole time.

The more likely reason that Russell put up Lydia, however, is the simple fact that she is someone that Jesse leans upon for a vote when he needs one.  Lydia from day one has been all up in Jesse's space.  Watching the live feeds you know there has been several instances where it seems that perhaps they've even thrown down and had sex on live TV under the covers.  Ahhh, but it has been under the covers so who knows.  The choice to attach herself to Jesse has turned out to be a good one to this point however keeping her safe throughout with hardly even a second thought by anyone as to her being someone to worry about.  That does bring up the talent she leans most heavily upon in the house this season and that is her ability to manipulate through any means necessary!

This girl will do whatever it takes to get what she wants.  She cozies up to the guys and tells them whatever it is that she thinks they wish to hear.  She'll make silly girlie voices and use physical contact as a means to bond with Jesse and tried the same wiles upon Russell.  Jesse it worked with like a charm, Russell, not so much.  With the girls she's not had as much luck almost throwing down with Natalie and not really making much in the way of friendships with the rest of the ladies.  She uses straight up lies whenever she must at any time willing to thrown any person under the bus if she detects a hint whatsoever of the person she is speaking with not liking another. 

All in all, Lydia has played a decent game to this point.  Her team the outcasts was never in power yet she managed to fly under the radar so far.  Her main fault has been a the fault of many this season and it is just her transparency when trying to cuddle up with whomever.  Sometimes her lies and deceit are just too apparent.  She is up against Ronnie though, and she still has a chance at winning PoV which does call into question her ability to compete as she hasn't won a thing this season yet except the 42" plasma TV for falling out of last Thursday's head of household competition second.
