Coach Jeff Bzdelik took on the challenge of rebuilding the Colorado Buffalo program from the ground up. After a successful l run at Air Force and in the NBA with the Denver Nuggets he is now in the process of bringing back respectability to the Buffs. With a solid recruiting class and a system that can utilize the talents of one of the best players in the Big 12 (Cory Higgins). Let’s see what Coach Bzdelik cooks up in the Baker’s Dozen.

5. Why did you go into coaching?
I didn’t want a 9 to 5 job sitting behind a desk and because I am a very competitive person.

9. What does your birthday dinner consist of?

I would add a restricted arc (like NBA) to help clarify the block-charge call.

11. What was your first coaching mistake?
I was trying to be professional and I listened a little too long to a parent. (We have all found ourselves listening to a parent, but as Coach Bzdelik and I agree you can talk to them about anything except basketball.)

My first win against Northern Arizona when I was at UMBC and my first win in the pros (vs. Portland)

On game day I listen to Hill Songs from Australia to gain focus.
