Computer control of the human mind. To even suggest that such a thing could be possible is to risk being relegated to the ranks of the insane. Despite the notion that the idea is patently absurd, the truth is that it is not only feasible, but the technology which could make it possible has already been demonstrated.

Scientists from Brown University, VA , have already developed technology by which a 25-year-old quadriplegic has been able operate a computer cursor and perform other tasks using only his thoughts. Russian scientists are also working on similar projects with success.
The technology, called BrainGate, uses a miniature sensor implanted in the motor cortex of the brain. The sensor implant utilizes 100 hair-thin electrodes that detect signals from the brain. These signals are sent to a decoding device that translates them into commands which in turn, operate electronic devices. And they are already making plans to transmit these signals wirelessly.
IBM is known to be experimenting with human DNA to create an interface between silicon and biological tissue.
At the Wellcome Trust Centre for Neuroimaging, Institute of Neurology, University College London, scientists are working to read an individual's thoughts by observing activity in the hippocampus. The hippocampus is recognized as being central to the operation of human memory. At present, researchers say they now understand how images are stored and called upon in this part of the brain.
Although the researchers deny that such technology is capable of reading thoughts, it is only a matter of time before the body of scientific knowledge grows to include this prospect. It stands to reason that, if science has gained the ability to control electrical devices using only human thought, the reverse is also possible. Scientists can already control insect behavior using similar devices. The possibilities are ominous.
If a human memory can be qualified and quantified, it can also be manipulated. Our personalities as humans are to a great extent, dependant upon memory. Our personalities are a collection of personal perceptions based upon our experiences, what we have learned by them, and how we feel about them. If one were able to plant memories, emotions, and other cognitive data into an individual, one could then completely control that person. This would be true even if the perceived memories and planted experiences were false. The result would be a man as programmable as any computing device known today.
Although scientists may claim that such an eventuality is years away, plans are already being formulated to utilize such an interface between man and computer.
Microsoft chairman Bill Gates has been one of the leading proponents of the Internet, and has played a substantial role in its popularity. Gates determination led him to be the leader of the “Information Revolution”. In his book titled "The Road Ahead", Gates is enthusiastic about the latest expansion of the computer concept called the “highway”.
This "highway" is a wireless system that would integrate each and every computer chip in the world to collect information. Imagine all the computer chips around you right now. There are chips in your computer. There is no doubt a computer chip in your watch, computer chips in your radio, your kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and elsewhere. Once this system is fully operational, it is likely that everything you buy will be “chiped”.
According to Gates, “Agents” would help people to navigate the new system. Everything you say, everything you do, even your bodily functions—heart rate, blood pressure, breathing rate, caloric intake, and abnormalities in any of your bodily functions will be documented. Privacy will become a thing of the past. The goal of the system is to produce a “documentable life" for every person on this earth.
The ubiquitous cell phone is already trackable. Cell towers and cell technology are all part of this “highway.” Wireless Internet uses cell phone technology to distribute Internet to urban centers. Once wireless cell technology can be thoroughly integrated into society, this “highway” will begin in earnest.

Knowledge has indeed increased incredibly. With the aid of a computer, one can look up just about anything one would like to know. But there is a price to be paid for that knowledge. That price is the sacrifice of one's privacy.
The society described in Orwell’s book is upon us. Everything you and everyone else has posted on the internet has been recorded and cataloged. There is every reason to believe we have all been used as guinea pigs in a vicious sci-fi experiment. Have you ever wonder why there are so many free e-mail accounts available on the “net”?
Even the terminology used to describe this system of information portends something diabolical. Words such as the “web” the “net,” foretell of a trap, set for the Pollyanna’s of this world. The device was designed to be just like a real spider’s web, but instead of sucking bug juices, web crawling "spiders" have been designed to extract information—personal information, information that no one in their right mind would ever give to a stranger. And to add insult to injury, the populace at large has funded the very system that invades their privacy.
Once the neuro-computer interface technology is implanted in a man and connected with the “highway” he will lose his ability to make a decision for Christ. That day is closer than most believe.
The book of Revelation tells of a time when all will be forced to receive a mark in their right hand or in their forehead without which they will not buy or sell.
Revelation 14:9-10
And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb
The taking of this mark will for the majority of mankind, be the last act of freewill they will know. This author exhorts you to purpose it your heart today to refuse to accept it, even to the point of death. Have courage. They can torture us and kill us, but we will live again.

2. My opinion is not in regards to the book. I am sure Bill Gates' "Highway" will work as well as the rest of his fine products. I look forward to "Mind Crashing" followed by "Mind Patches". Sure entire crops will be lost, but you can't stop progress; until they have to scrap "Highway" for "XPressway"

I expect that many of them will choose the world because they are not prepared to suffer. Their pre-trib rapture delusion will deceive them.

I’m just a little confused. You made the accusation that Libertarian Skeptik was long on opinion but short of facts, yet in your article I didn’t see a single fact. Even your use of scripture was so twisted and distorted. First of all, Revelation says that the Mark of the Beast is the number of a man not some form of technology. You’ll notice that in your article, it was the paraplegic using his mind to control the computer, not the other way around. I strongly recommend you check out some books at the library on how the mind works. Knowledge is power, lack of knowledge is paranoia. Once you become aware of how the mind works, you’ll realize that it’s not so easily manipulated. Part of understanding biblical prophecy is understanding the times in which it was written, and the mentality of the people that wrote it.

I have concluded after 3 years of intensive research that Morgellons Disease is a unintended result of certain nanotechnology wiring to interface the organic with the inorganic, Man with Machine.
Morgellons fibers match nothing in the F.B.I. database and melt around 1400 degrees. I believe someone mixed the Pedot with Prions and used this for a template.
The C.D.C. needs to release their findings into the causal agent of Morgellons .
The Christian Media should take a good hard look at the facts behind this disease. The specimens and combined research of the P.H.D.'s investigating Morgellons samples do seem to match certain Patents on Human Brain Machine Interfaces.

Who needs a biochip? Scanners to read your iris pattern and hand print. Maybe a biochip for remote scanning, but for the general population, no need for a biochip. Just watch TV and the internet.
