If you are like me, you have at least one, if not many, older cell phones just lying around your house. Sure, my youngest son likes to use one as a toy phone, and my daughter uses one to try to convince me that she needs a real one, but really, they’re just here, waiting to be used again in some way.
Boscov’s Department Stores have partnered with 911 Cell Phone Bank (www.cellphonebank.org) as a collection site for unused cell phones. Customers can drop off any unwanted cell phones to the customer service desk of any Boscov’s Department Store location. All collected cell phones will be sent to the 911 Cell Phone Bank for processing.
This is a responsible way to recycle your old cell phones, and once they have been processed, the cell phones will be redistributed to senior citizens and victims of abuse.
911 Cell Phone Bank was created in 2004, and it has generated more than 80,000 emergency cell phones for victim services organizations worldwide. Please take your unused cell phones to any of the 39 Boscov’s locations in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, and Delaware. Your old cell phones will be used to benefit seniors and victims of abuse.
