Beer-marinated grilled portobello mushroom sandwich recipe

This is my favorite vegetarian burger alternative. I guarantee every carnivore will want one, too.

Ingredients:
- Portobello mushroom caps, stems removed
- 8 oz. blonde ale
- 1 tbsp. crushed garlic
- 1 tbsp. dried oregano
- 1 tbsp. toasted sesame oil
- 2 tbsp. soy sauce
- crushed red pepper to taste
Directions:
Blend ingredients (all but the mushrooms) well. Marinate Portobello mushrooms in the mix for at least one hour before placing on hot grill. Baste with remaining marinade as necessary.
Serve on a toasted bun or Kaiser roll with options like mustard, ketchup or salsa. For the non-vegan, serve it with a slice or two of cheese and some garlic/mayo.
