Why yes you can! (insert Obama inflection here).
After a day at work, you're looking forward to that party, get together, hot date, wine tasting or girl's night out here in NYC, aren't you?
The only problem is that you look in the office bathroom mirror and you see skin that looks dull, eyes that look tired, lips that need color and don't even get started with that flat uninspired, lackluster hair and blah skin on your hands and body!
Don't worry, with these tips and some of my favorite, fast, convienent, effective products that you should keep in your bag or at your desk, you will have everything you need to look pretty and pulled together in 7 minutes.
- Start out by perking up the skin and getting a glow. Use a dab of tinted moisturizer (try: Prescriptives custom blend tinted moisturizer) on a slightly damp makeup sponge (try: Sonia Kashuk Blending Sponge) directly over the day's makeup.
- Apply a pink or peach toned cream blush on cheeks (try: Bobbi Brown Pot Rouge for Lips & Cheeks)
- Do a little Mascara refeshing (try: Bourjois Eye Liner Effect Mascara)
- Concealer touch up if needed (try: Bobbi Brown Face Touch Up Stick)
- Apply a gold or bronze powder over lids (try: Stila Gold Glow Eyeshadow Trio)
- Dab on a berry or pink lip stain/gloss (try: Tarte Enbrightenment BriteSmile® Whitener & Tarte Lipgloss).
- Add a shine enhancer to hair (try: Ted Gibson Hair Styling Sheets)
- Flip hair over several times to increase volume if it's long. Otherwise, spice up a ponytail/bun with a pretty pin, barette or headband or create a deep part and slick hair back for a damatic sexy look.
- Sweep body moisturzer with illuminators over arms/legs/hands (try: Olay Quench Body Lotion)
.
- Quick squeeze of the eye drops.
- If you have the time (1 minute left?), brush a pale pink quick drying nail color pen (try: Sally Hansen Quick Dry Nail Pen) over bare nails.
Voila! You are beautiful and ready for your second wind!
