Fast track for emerging beauty brands

Emerging brands and independent companies will have the opportunity to showcase their latest finished goods to the beauty and personal care community with the new SPLASH pavilion making its debut at HBA Global, June 19-21, 2012 at Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York. This new area on the HBA exhibit floor will feature unique product offerings from all over the world that have been juried by an elite panel of retailers, beauty bloggers, brand experts and entrepreneurs.

As part of the most important product development event, SPLASH will boost the visibility and image of a new generation of cosmetics, skin care, fragrance, nail, hair and personal care products amongst industry professionals including distributors who attend HBA Global Expo as well as the beauty media who have a strong New York base.

Brands that can apply to this new Pavilion at HBA for testing and review by the SPLASH Jury include products with no more than two years in retail distribution (US or international) and have an interesting development or back story. Finished goods that are effective, offer new solutions and fill a unique consumer need will also be considered.

Those selected to participate will receive a high-end complete turnkey package for optimum product display and face-to-face meetings as part of their contract. SPLASH companies will also receive a complimentary three-day conference pass to the HBA Conference program.

In addition, there will be scheduled beauty blogger and media tours throughout the event and attendees will vote on their top new products. SPLASH participants will also be heavily promoted in HBA Global promotional materials and through on-line and social media initiatives.

“With 57% of the HBA audience specifically looking for finished products, the SPLASH Pavilion will be a well-spring of innovation and activity this June at HBA Global,” says Jill Birkett, Brand Director, Beauty & Wellness Industry.

There will be a limited number of display areas in the SPLASH Pavilion and the submission deadline is January 30, 2012.
