This year’s Fashion Fest 2010 held in Arvada, CO featured LaMan Blu collections by designer Holli Gibson. The Fashion Fest showcased the eco-friendly, adorable, fun, and comfortable line of children’s clothing for girls ages six months to six years. Holli Gibson established her career as a designer in the 90’s designing sportswear and dresses for many high profile clients as well as retailers such as Nordstrom’s and Victoria’s Secret. She then turned her focus on to children. Holli designs classic and beautiful clothes with a modern edge. She is the also a recent recipient of the Rising Star Award from Fashion Group International.
This seasons fashion show was titled “Because”. The story of “Because” is because children are innocent and experience the wonder and celebration of childhood. The inspiration of “Because” happens when you are a child and every day is special! LaMan Blu tells of childhood by awakening a bygone era of beauty and bringing it current and modern.
These children’s clothes were looking fabulous coming down the runway. A delicate but bold explosion of colors on some very cute little ones who rocked the runway! The eco-friendly line was created with the highest quality fabric and with attention to the eco-impact those choices have. Customers can pick and choose the pieces that will enhance their look and select styles are also available in adult sizing.
