Karen Hummel is a Dior National Makeup Artist for the San Francisco Bay Area and the Pacific Northwest. Since she was a child, she has loved expressing her creativity with makeup. She feels that faces are canvases just waiting to be painted. She enjoys empowering women by helping them enhance their natural beauty.

As a professional makeup artist, she has done makeup for television, film, the runways, and celebrities, including fashion icon Diane Von Furstenberg. Her work has appeared on MTV, CNN, and NBC, and has graced the pages of magazines like Allure and Harper’s Bazaar.

Hummel has trained with the highly sought after Dior Celebrity Makeup Artist Pati Dubroff, who has created red-carpet looks for many famous faces, such as Gwyneth Paltrow, Naomi Watts, and Drew Barrymore. Hummel also travels the country to work with Dubroff.
