I was at all three shows, so I'll be buying this, no doubt about it... but I was disappointed that they seem to have edited the crowd noise out during the song. What's the point of a "live" release without the crowd?
Joseph, why do you say that? I don't hear it. As for the audience - I'm glad you can't hear them and the less I see them the better. Paul's other videos have too many shots of big busted girls in the front. Very dull for music fans. This looks good, though I wish the cameras would just sit still fro a moment. Every shot is panning in or panning out while moving on a dolly or crane. Hopefully it is just for the rock songs - perhaps the ballads will be a little slower paced.
The sound quality is the best I've heard from any Paul live CD or DVD. Reminiscent of the stellar quality of the Clapton/Winwood release from MSG earlier this year. If this is indicative of the sound for the rest of it, I'm going to be very happy with this.
I think somebody listened to the fans and got rid of most of the crowd shots! I personally hate crowd shots in concert films, i dont buy it to see the crowd, ugh lol! Hopefully, the rest of the dvd is like that...sounds great, dont need audience noise myself as I was at the shows, u could always find a boot if that's what ya like.
Three things:
(1) thanks, Steve! :)
(2) what in God's name is AutoTune?
(3) the LESS crowd shots and noise, the BETTER. I want to hear and see Paul and his BAND, not the crowd.

AutoTune on his vocals: A release to avoid!
OK. I'll bite. What does that mean?

Fewer crowd shots - thank you! Still shot by someone with the attention span of a gnat though.

Matt: I agree. The sound on the preview tracks has been superb. And these concerts -- I mean the whole tour -- deserved a great permanent record.
re: AutoTune - where do you hear it? Honest, I don't hear it anywhere in the track.
