Sam Taylor-Wood, the 42-year-old director of the film "Nowhere Boy," which had its world premiere in London this week, will marry the 19-year-old actor star of the film, the Daily Mail reported Friday. (See more pictures from the premiere they attended together on Thursday.)
Wood and Aaron Johnson, who plays John Lennon, announced wedding plans Friday. Wood split from her husband, art dealer Jay Jopling last year. The couple had two daughters.
The newspaper also quoted Taylor-Wood as detailing Yoko Ono's approval of the film by allowing use of the John Lennon song "Mother." Both Ono and son Sean Lennon saw the film in advance.
'"They both really loved it. She's given the rights to (the song) 'Mother' which she's never given the rights to before. She wouldn't have if she didn't like the film. That's really the stamp of approval," the paper quoted Taylor-Wood.

No wonder she wanted to use the song "Mother",it's very obvious now, wonder if the song "Young Blood" or "Little Child" is included too.
The couple 'had' two daughters. ??
Hopefully someone still has them? :)
Welcome to Cougar-town!
As the Church Lady on Saturday Night Live might have said, "Well, isn't THAT special!"
He doesn't look as happy as she does. Oh well, I'm sure that somewhere Jay Jopling is saying, "Better you than me, pal"
I wonder if she's Norwegian Taylor Wood?
She looks a bit like Heather. RED FLAG!!!!!
19? Fun to take to the park, but not to marry.
She looks a bit like Heather Mills
I give it as long as Paul and Heather's relationship. I won't need Yoko's approval to see the movie, thank you anyway. I'm sure it will be good, since it is before Yoko is in the equation.
Oooooh, Miss Ann! I forget the rest of the lyrics, but check this 'lil post 'o mine from B.E. 28-Oct., re: the film trailer:
"Quick! Someone blame Yoko for something - anything! Hurry!
October 28, 11:42 PM"
Ok, it took 3 days, but I knew it was coming! As John Lennon spoke in "Revolution #9", 'Everyone knew as they got a little bit older, they'd get a little bit slower.' Same for Yoko-phobia too I guess.
Sorry Ann, no offense, but your point there seems to be that if Yoko is not involved, it must be good entertainment. Ever see "Gigli"? No Yoko input there, so it must be a good film.
Gotta misquote Charlie Brown - AAUUGGHH!! I can't stand it! Almost 2010 and still we get 'Yoko is the source of all evil' comments!
I previously posted that Aaron Johnson looked terrified or sedated in the premiere photos, and that maybe he was even a robot.
Ok, now I see it's terror AND sedation over his upcoming nuptuals. I have NO problems with age difference in relationships, but did Sam Taylor-Woods propose at Midnight on Johnson's (no, I'm not gonna go there) 17th birthday? Come on, he's prettier than she is!
And to Michelle C - I can think of more fun places to take him than the park.
well the RNRHOF exhibit on John in NYC that just closed was all revisionist history through the eyes of Yoko Ono, imo. What a waste of time and money that was, it was so depressing.
Sorry Melody, but you have spent exactly how much time with John Lennon, as opposed to Yoko's time with him? As far as "revisionism", I learned some "new" history from Paul on the recent Letterman show. Paul does it frequently, Ringo occasionally, Olivia not yet a far as I've seen. John went back-and-forth about the Beatles in his lifetime. I'm not saying Yoko has no spin of her own. She, Paul and Ringo can all do some spinning, which is sad since it makes it seem that they all have to shout "Don't Forget About MY Part" now and then.
But if you're taking May Pang & Fred Seaman's word over Yoko, that's pretty bad judgement IMO. May & Fred can use the $ and Seaman's a convicted criminal.
Yoko doesn't lack $ and is almost 77 years old. I applaud her for doing what she can to maintain & sustain John's legacy - no one else is doing it.
Got something to say?
