Yes, it took him about 2 songs to warm up, but Paul showed a whole lot of very young people how it gets done tonight! This is the 3rd concert I've seen of his over the years, and I must say it was the best. It helps that I was very close to the stage because the closer you get to this force of nature the more overwhelming McCartney's show becomes.
There is no way I can recreate a set list, but he did 2 well received songs from Electric Arguments and of course the beloved favorites. He did throw in a few surprises.
All I can say is the crowd around me was all very young, they were all singing along to songs written well before they were born, and were very attentive and responsive to Paul. He's a brilliant musician and showman and he seemed very emotional tonight, mentioning Linda twice tonight. A few people around me cried during My Love and Here Today.
Paul clearly. loved performing for this crowd tonight with its youthful energy. This will truly be a night to remember. Paul finished with 2 encores, playing a full 2 hour set, and looked as though he could have gone on for another 2 hours. . .

The picture above of Paul at Coachella is about as good as I have seen him look in 20 years. He's getting the hair right again(finally!).
I'm so glad to hear all the great reviews. It always takes Paul a couple of songs to warm up. I've seen him 20 times over the last couple of years and it takes a couple of songs to find his voice. Nothing wrong with that.
I was there at this year's Coachella and saw Paul play. His concert was brilliant!! The crowd had such a blast and Paul seemed to be having a good time too. It was really so much fun! I am still reeling from it today!
