At first, it seems a few people didn't realize the presale was today. It continues through 10 p.m. Thursday EST/3 a.m. Friday UK time. Email your successes and otherwise to beatlesexaminer@gmail.com.
From Jim Marien:
Presale for the Maryland show (Washington) started today.
I received an email from the Fan Club. The presale foes
through Ticketmaster. I'm not close enough to go but I
did try to see what tickets I might be available. First
section, right of stage, field level !! Apparently not too
many people know about the presale today.
From Frank C. Branchini:
I got a seat in section B3 on the field for the Paul McCartney show at FedEx Field just outside Washington. This is the second row of sections back from the stage but absolutely dead center.
I tried both on line and, while I was waiting, by phone. I have four different phone numbers for Ticketmaster and never connected to anything. Got right through online and was given a 15 minute waiting time. It connected a bit short of 15 minutes. I then went back through the system to buy a second ticket and came up with a 7 minute wait for a seat only 5 rows further back in B3. Had the two tickets at 10:24.
I can't afford this but I am thrilled.
It is going to be a great Summer!
Cheers!

I got section A5 row 18 in the Amex presale for DC. So glad you posted that the other day, I would not have known otherwise. THAT is why I am one of your subscribers. I highly recommend it! :) I don't know why I bought tickets, he'll be staying at my house.
Congrats to all who got tix; this is an option for me if boston doesn't pan out.
now if only there would be some news from boston! season tix holders said they got letters that they could purchase tix on thursday for an artist to be announced playing fenway on aug 5 and 6 pending Consumer affairs permit approval. It's after 6:30 pm and no word.
Ok, I just went to ticketmaster just to see what if anything was left. I went on there at 9:00pm EST and I was able to pull up 2 tickets in each price level for D.C. Could be many didn't know about the pre-sale - though it is on Paul's site - or fans are tapped from buying Citi Field tkts. This is a slipshot way of announcing concerts if I ever saw one. You cannot tell me that all the dates are not contracted and arranged already from before Citi Field went on sale. Paul needs to announce all shows at one time so fans in diff. areas can choose which ones are good for them. This way fans in one city wouldn't necessarily have to spend $$ for tickets in another city only to find out a week later that Paul is playing practically in their own backyard, and they're not be able to spend $$ again.
So, Frank, that means that they cannot advertise that the concert sold out in 5 minutes ;-)
The NY shows didn't either, though they claim that. I had to wait 15 minutes for the Mets site to let me in and I bought my tickets at 10:32 (after rejecting and putting back several choices that came up.)
I had a pretty easy time getting tickets for Dc even though I live in NY and am going to Citi Field. I had the same 15 minute wait, the clock kept jumping around a bit but I didn't dare leave my computer (I did this from work) mess with anything. Finally I was given 2 tickets in section B3 which I grabbed.
Much easier and less frustrating than the Citi Field site. I never got in to that one. My friend is the one who was able to access that site.
much easier than New York..but so glad to be going to both cities....hoping Philly is next

I got A1 - dead center, just a few rows back from the stage. Still can't believe it.
