The new issue of Entertainment Weekly, which goes on sale Sept. 4, is full blown Beatlemania. The headline blares "The Beatles Invade Again!"
The magazine features coverage of both the remastered CDs and "The Beatles: Rock Band." Included also are articles on the 50 best Beatles songs and the five worst.

Mine arrived in the mail today and my Beatles box set is now shipping soon at Amazon, so here's to a lovely week ahead.
Where are George and Ringo?
Honestly? Don't bother. Unless you HAVE TO have every magazine featuring the Beatles on the cover, this one doesn't have enough substantive content to see you through a visit to the loo.
Their listing of the group's 50 best songs and five worst ones shows no imagination and, with "All You Need Is Love" topping their list of "Worst Songs," is designed solely to generate faux controversy.
I'm with Lynn, where are George and Ringo? Apparently Entertainment Weekly thinks only John and Paul were the Beatles. I think Ringo would have something to say about that (since George isn't here...but I'll say it for George, "Economy class Beatles..."
For some reason, this doesn't really bother me. The Lennon-McCartney partnership was a big part of the Beatles but everyone knows they aren't all of them.
Got something to say?
